Murder At The Midnight Circus
A downloadable Prototype Game for Windows and macOS
Murder At The Midnight Circus is a small game featuring a detective (the player) who is sent to investigate a murder that occurred at a circus. I have been developing some of the characters for a long time and I wanted to create a cohesive project to showcase them in a fitting environment and set the mood for the universe they inhabit. The project aimed to highlight my modeling skills while learning more about Unity, which is the game engine I used to make Murder At The Midnight Circus. I aspire to work as an indie game developer or as part of an indie game development team.
The game's style is inspired by old PlayStation and Nintendo low-polygon games, as I have always admired this modeling style. Cinema4D was used to create many game assets, which were then exported to Unity for animation and interaction. The game is still in the alpha phase (early testing phase), and I hope to revisit this project multiple times to continue enhancing it.
NOTE: Yes, this game is FREE. When you go to download it, click "No thanks, take me to the downloads," which should be above the paid option. The paid option is an optional donation if you wish to support the game! Thanks, all, for checking out this page, especially if you've made it this far! :)
